Job summary

Foster Farms is seeking a Distribution leader to oversee department performance, drive quality and cost efficiency, and train lead personnel. The role reports to a Superintendent and involves monitoring productivity, safety, and yield metrics across distribution operations.

The position requires strong communication, interpersonal, and math skills, with five to ten years in food processing and the ability to stand for long periods. Swing shift is 2:00p-10:00p with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in business management or equivalent work experience (five to ten years) in the food processing industry.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills.
• Good mathematical background to be able to perform calculations on yield, productivity, time cards, reports, etc.
• Able to evaluate forepersons fairly and objectively; strong human resource skills.
• Growth potential to assume more responsibility.
• Able to stand for prolong periods of time on a concrete/metal grate floor.

• Participates at department meetings in the planning processes and to the testing and development of techniques/processes.

Pay Range: $70,304 to $82,285 per year
