Position Description

The Distribution Supervisor leads a team of 15–20 hourly associates in a fast‑paced distribution environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing productivity, problem resolution, and outstanding customer service.
• Maintaining employee relations, motivation, and development.
• Ensuring acceptable profitability and meeting or exceeding productivity standards.
• Achieving exceptional customer service key performance indicators such as order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, and inventory accuracy.
• Promoting a clean, professional, and safe working environment while meeting or exceeding SCLS corporate safety goals.
• Driving constant and measurable improvement; teaching and enforcing SCLS’ Quality Policy at all times.
• Communicating SCLS goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates.
• Conducting annual performance reviews for all staff.
• Coaching, training, and mentoring direct reports to ensure personal growth and career development.

Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web‑based software applications.
• Demonstrated leadership skills to influence the department, implement, and manage change.
• Strong collaborative skills, listening, sharing ideas, and appreciating others’ efforts.
• Solid judgment, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to function under high stress while focusing on operational goals.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects and set priorities.
• Ability to build a cohesive team that exemplifies SCLS’ values and supports the mission statement.

Additional desirable qualifications:
