Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a warehouse leadership professional in Winter Haven, FL to guide a team of hourly associates and ensure superior customer service.

The role emphasizes KPI-driven performance, lean improvements, safety, and effective communication with clients. You will mentor staff, manage shift operations, and drive continuous development across the team.

Location: Winter Haven, FLShift: Mon – Wed, every other Thursday; 6 pm – 6 am

What you will do:

• Manage and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse team environment
• Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains
• Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business unit by meeting or exceeding Productivity standards and cost control management
• Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned area of responsibility
• Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles, and process improvement
• Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
• Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals
• Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates
• Coach, train, and mentor associates, allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop
• Conduct annual performance reviews

Our ideal candidate will have…

• 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change
• Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and decision-making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals
• Strong organization and multi-tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross-trained to do more where needed

It’s not required, but it would be even better if you have…

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience
• Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus, but not required
• Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based, and job-specific software applications #LI-DNI .)
