As a distribution specialist, you:
- Performs a variety of shipping, receiving, and inventory management tasks, including loading and unloading trailers, filling merchandise, fulfilling orders, servicing merchandise, and documenting requirements and movements of merchandise.
- Maintains quality by regularly reviewing work to identify and correct errors.
- Hassle-free and efficient driving of various company vehicles to perform various distribution functions.
- Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and adhere to safety requirements as outlined in our safety policy; empowering and training others to do the same.
- Understands and adheres to established safety standards, following all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, lockout and tagout).
- Supports food safety, legal and quality programs.
- Maintains product quality by adhering to good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications and quality procedures.
- Monitors and records quality metrics using analytical tools.
- Performs other duties as required in support of business objectives and Starbucks information and standards.
- Maintain regular and timely attendance.
