Welty Energy & Infrastructure is seeking a Project Manager to join our Distribution (Dx) Project Management team. The role is based in Western, PA with travel to client sites as required (20%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant experience in electric utility project management.
• Minimum of 6-14 years of experience in project management for the Utility sector (electric power such as Substation or Transmission).
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and coordinate the completion of all activities for the low voltage engineering, design, procurement, and construction of major capital projects and programs.
• Manage medium to high complexity projects and/or programs on behalf of our team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure communication across the project life cycle.
• Lead schedule updates and ensure budget adherence.
• Oversee construction package reviews, pre-award meetings, and site visits.
• Act as single point of contact for Construction on submittals and coordination of project information and documents.
• Ensure outages are identified and communicated to avoid schedule interruptions.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for fieldwork.
• Assist Portfolio Manager(s) with coordination, reporting, and related tasks.
