Job summary

Unitil is seeking engineers at multiple levels in distribution to plan, design and optimize power delivery for Exeter, NH customers. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, economy and efficient operation of the distribution system.

Candidates should have a BS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems; professional licensure is preferred. Strong analytical and communication skills and computer proficiency are required; hybrid work may be possible after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, power systems concentration preferred.
• 0–2 years experience for Associate level; more for senior roles.
• Strong analytical, communication and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality engineering services to ensure safe, reliable power delivery.
• Plan, design and implement distribution facilities for new and existing customers.
• Coordinate and review work of engineers and technicians; manage projects.
• Lead, guide and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high service levels.
