Job summary

ADUSA Distribution in the Butner, NC area seeks an experienced Supervisor, Distribution Operations to keep the distribution center running safely and on schedule. You will lead a team of associates, drive daily operational excellence, and ensure quality and productivity standards are met.

You’ll partner with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams across Distribution, Transportation, and Inventory Management to improve service to retail and engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in general distribution operations or BS/BA in a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• College degree (preferred).
• Prior supervisory experience leading hourly associates (preferred).
• Certified on powered industrial equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead a Safety-First Culture and maintain a safe, positive work environment with fair treatment of associates.
• Supervise and develop your team; oversee day-to-day operations and coach performance.
• Drive operational excellence with cross-functional collaboration to ensure accurate flow of inventory.
• Optimize staffing and training; monitor staffing and support recruiting and onboarding.
• Communicate and coordinate shift updates; minimize disruptions and maximize throughput.
• Meet performance and budget goals by guiding productivity, quality, and cost objectives.
• Ensure compliance and quality by enforcing safety, productivity, accuracy, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide leadership feedback for process enhancements.
