Job summary

Ingram Content Group is seeking an Operations Manager for the Distribution team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will oversee day-to-day operations within the Distribution Center, manage materials, and coordinate with LS Departments to meet client needs, while supervising shifts and ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires a college degree or related experience and 3+ years in management with at least 1 year in manufacturing. Primarily day shift with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

• College degree or directly related year for year experience

Responsibilities

• Manage materials and equipment necessary for the daily production and shipping of books to LSI customers, including but not limited to, order routing, material requisitioning, shift staffing, and quality control
• Coordinate with other LS Departments, to resolve customer complaints, rush orders and meet client needs
• Oversee and direct supervisors on assigned shift
• Compose and approve associate evaluations and maintain accurate attendance/time records; recommending disciplinary measures, as needed
• Interview applicants, approve hiring decisions and oversee training
• Ensure that safety and hazardous material guidelines are followed by associates at all times
