Job summary

Ingram Content Group is seeking an Operations Manager for the Distribution team in Fort Wayne, IN. You will oversee day-to-day operations within the Distribution Center, manage materials, and coordinate with LS Departments to meet client needs, while supervising shifts and ensuring safety compliance.

The role requires a college degree or related experience and 3+ years in management with at least 1 year in manufacturing. Primarily day shift with flexibility for evenings and weekends.

• Manage materials and equipment necessary for the daily production and shipping of books to LSI customers, including but not limited to, order routing, material requisitioning, shift staffing, and quality control
• Coordinate with other LS Departments, to resolve customer complaints, rush orders and meet client needs
• Oversee and direct supervisors on assigned shift
• Compose and approve associate evaluations and maintain accurate attendance/time records; recommending disciplinary measures, as needed
• Interview applicants, approve hiring decisions and oversee training
• Ensure that safety and hazardous material guidelines are followed by associates at all times

An Operations Manager manages the day-to-day operation of a specific group of departments within the Distribution Center, as well as ensure service levels, performance levels, quality and human resources are meeting daily business requirements.

Hiring Salary Range:$97,201-$123,251k.This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
