Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the Prairie Du Chien Distribution Center. The role oversees up to 50 associates handling receiving, picking, packing and shipping within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, driving process improvements, managing performance, and ensuring safety and cost discipline across operations. A technical degree or extensive related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with warehouse/distribution management software is required.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Ability to analyze forecasting and make well-supported recommendations.
• Experience communicating with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 50 associates.
• Drive continual process improvement, focusing on accuracy and cost efficiency.
• Coach, train and mentor staff; conduct performance evaluations.
• Monitor labor productivity and KPIs; improve against prior year and plan objectives.
• Promote safety leadership and manage staffing decisions and scheduling.

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics
