Job summary

Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC in Dallas, TX seeks a civil/electrical/mechanical engineer to design and manage expansion and maintenance of the downtown network and major distribution projects across the Oncor service territory.

Under minimal supervision, you will prepare plans, specs, and project documents, emphasize safety, and coordinate across teams to deliver reliable electric service at competitive costs. Onsite five days a week in Downtown Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Capable of being licensed as a Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
• Engineer Level: 2+ years of engineering experience; Staff Engineer: 4+ years; Senior Engineer: 6+ years.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, standards, and operating procedures under minimal supervision.
• Develop plans, specifications and project documents for expansion and maintenance of downtown networks and major distribution projects.
• Prioritize safety and reliability in design and operations.
• Communicate effectively with multiple work groups and document plans for complex designs.
• Manage many projects while ensuring quality, reliability and volume.
