Wausau Supply Company seeks a Distribution Material Handler to join its employee-owned team. You will pick, pack, and load orders, maintaining safety and accuracy as you work with various warehouse equipment to prepare shipments.

Responsibilities include keeping inventory accurate, supporting a collaborative team, and upholding high standards of quality and safety. Training is provided for ERP and forklift where needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• Warehouse hand-held ERP technology experience is a plus; training provided.
• Forklift certification or prior warehouse experience is a plus; training provided.

Responsabilidades

• Consistently demonstrate and incorporate safety principles.
• Pick and pack to ensure orders are pulled and packaged correctly.
• Load orders on the correct trailer with complete paperwork for shipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and participate in trainings.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, RF unit, etc.).
• Support teamwork and contribute to department and company success.
• Perform additional duties as needed to ensure operations run smoothly.

What This Role Will Be Doing

Duties to include, but not limited to:

• Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principals of safety
• Pick and pack to ensure all orders are pulled and packaged properly to be loaded
• Ensure all orders are loaded properly on the correct trailer and all the paperwork is complete so the orders can ship
• Develop and maintain a clean, safe working environment and ensure participation in safety programs and required trainings
• Sort and move product interdepartmentally while operating and using a variety of material handling equipment, including, but not limited to, forklift, RF unit (hand-held), etc.
• Perform all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and encourages team effort
• Perform other duties assigned that would lead to successful operation of department, team, and/or company mission

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Warehouse hand-held ERP technology experience a plus but not required - training will be provided
• Forklift certification/prior warehouse experience a plus but not required - training will be provided

Working Demands / Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, and walk for long periods of time
