Job summary

Wausau Supply Company in Iowa seeks a Distribution Material Handler to oversee internal movement of product, uphold safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations.

You will pick and pack orders, load trailers, maintain a clean workspace, operate forklifts and RF devices, and support teamwork. Training provided for ERP, forklift certification, and safety programs.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• ERP handheld experience a plus (training provided).
• Forklift certification or prior warehouse experience a plus (training provided).
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Move products safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Pick and pack orders for proper packaging and loading.
• Ensure correct trailer loading and complete shipping paperwork.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and participate in safety trainings.
• Operate material handling equipment (forklift, RF unit, etc.) and collaborate with team.
• Support department and company mission through teamwork and flexible duties.

Distribution Material Handler responsible for the internal movement of product, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Consistently demonstrate and incorporate principles of safety.
• Pick and pack orders for proper packaging and loading.
• Ensure orders are loaded correctly on the correct trailer and complete paperwork for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and participate in safety programs and required trainings.
• Sort and move product interdepartmentally while operating a variety of material handling equipment (forklift, RF unit, etc.).
• Perform duties fostering teamwork and encourage team effort.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department, team, and company mission.
