Job summary

Viking Coca-Cola Bottling Company in St. Cloud, MN is hiring a Distribution Manager to keep routes running safely and efficiently. You will lead route teams, coach performance, and ensure procedures are consistently followed so every stop is done right.

You will be on-site, guiding morning route starts, riding with drivers several days a week, and using data from PRIDE submissions to refine plans and drive improvements for tomorrow’s operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C license and health card; satisfactory MVR per Vehicle Safety Policy
• Solid knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Preferred: maintain a Class A license

Responsibilities

• On-site start in St. Cloud with route punch-list and service issue triage
• RIDE along two to three days per week to observe operations and spot improvements
• Review PRIDE inspections, monitor key productivity metrics, adjust plans as needed
• Coordinate training, vehicle maintenance, and route adjustments for tomorrow

The Mission

As Distribution Manager - St. Cloud, you’ll keep our routes running fast, safe, and customer-ready-turning daily execution into standout service. You’ll lead VCC and VB route teams, coach performance, and keep operating procedures consistent so every stop is done right.

Key responsibilities include managing route efficiency; hiring and training route, relief, and bulk drivers; conducting P.R.I.D.E. vehicle inspections; ensuring planograms and brand order are followed; coordinating vehicle cleanliness and maintenance needs; monitoring key productivity/efficiency indicators; and enforcing OSHA/Federal and company safety policies.

Required Skills/qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and basic math for inventory counts
• Valid Class C license and health card; satisfactory MVR per Vehicle Safety Policy
• Solid knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving
• Preferred: maintain a Class A license

In the Driver’s Seat

Your morning kicks off on-site in St. Cloud with a quick pulse-check on the day’s routes and any service issues that need a fast fix. You’re out in the field riding along two to three days each week-s seeing what customers see, spotting small tweaks that make a big impact, and keeping standards sharp. Between check-ins, you review PRIDE inspection submissions, track the numbers that tell the real story, and pivot plans when the day throws a curveball. You wrap by lining up next steps-s training touchpoints, vehicle needs, and route adjustments-s so tomorrow starts even stronger.
