Job summary

Uline is seeking a Distribution Manager for the Kenosha Branch to lead from the warehouse floor and develop high‑performing teams. You will stay connected to daily operations while driving operational excellence across a 1.5 million+ square foot facility.

Lead by example, coach managers of 500+ employees, and deliver industry-leading service with same‑day shipping. This role emphasizes problem solving, data‑driven improvements and strong communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading high-volume distribution operations with large teams.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality and safety through leadership.
• Experience using KPIs and warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Lead the warehouse floor and coach managers to maintain accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct day-to-day operations across inbound, outbound and support areas.
• Develop managers who lead teams of 400+ employees through daily feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement to deliver class-leading service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate challenges and implement data-driven improvements to warehouse performance.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, working alongside employees to ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead a team of 500+ employees through daily feedback and hands-on leadership.
• Drive operational excellence through accountability and continuous improvement to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate operational challenges, remove barriers and implement practical, data-driven improvements that strengthen warehouse performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years leading high-volume distribution operations, including direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality and safety through operational leadership.
• Experience leading with KPIs, performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
