Job description

The Distribution Manager leads warehouse and logistics operations for their shift, keeping material moving efficiently and shipments going out on time and accurately. This person owns the day‑to‑day performance of the operation and drives the standards, discipline, and continuous improvement that make it run well. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of warehouse management, strong leadership, and a hands‑on approach to solving problems on the floor.

Responsibilities

1st Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Work is performed in both an office setting and a warehouse/distribution environment. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and move about the warehouse floor for extended periods; to communicate verbally and in writing; and to use hands to handle materials, equipment, and computers. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The warehouse environment includes exposure to moving powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts), elevated noise levels, and seasonal temperature variations. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas. This position oversees 2nd shift operations and may require evening hours and schedule flexibility to support business needs.
