Job summary

IMS is seeking a Distribution Manager for its Kenosha, WI facility. You will lead distribution and project management activities, coordinating staff, inventory, and kit packing while upholding ISO standards.

Strong communication and proactive planning are essential to drive on-time, within-budget results. Qualified candidates have a minimum eight years in distribution/project management in the POP/POS space, experience with WMS and RF, and Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with Excel and intermediate skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formatting, data organizing).
• Minimum of eight years of distribution and project management experience in the POP/POS industry.
• Experience starting up new clients & facilities, working with WMS & RF; Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Account service: plan projects with account teams and client project managers, submit estimates, ensure client expectations.
• P&L: forecast, monitor GP, control expenses.
• Inventory management: receive, ship, and control inventory.
• Project management: plan staffing, space, and supplies for projects.
• Quality assurance: ensure standards meet client requirements.
• Oversee kit pack-out and distribution within budget.
• Staffing: assist in hiring, training, motivation, performance.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
