Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company, seeks a Distribution Manager in Irving, TX to lead a vast, on-site warehouse operation. You will coach managers, develop high-performing teams, and ensure exceptional service for customers. This role centers on hands-on leadership from the floor, driving efficiency and safety across a 2.5 million sq ft facility.

You will manage KPIs, safety protocols, and daily operations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and same-day shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of leading high-volume distribution ops, incl. 400+ staff.
• Proven ability to improve productivity, quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, coaching staff to high accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct all day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and support.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead 500+ employees daily.

Join Uline as a Distribution Manager and lead from the warehouse floor, staying connected to daily operations while developing high-performing teams and delivering the exceptional service our customers count on. You'll help lead one of Uline's largest distribution operations in North America, spanning over 2.5 million square feet.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the warehouse floor, working alongside employees to ensure high levels of accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Direct all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Coach and develop warehouse managers who lead a team of 500+ employees through daily feedback and hands-on leadership.
• Drive operational excellence through accountability and continuous improvement to deliver industry-leading service and same-day shipping.
• Investigate operational challenges, remove barriers and implement practical, data-driven improvements that strengthen warehouse performance.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years leading high-volume distribution operations, including direct leadership of warehouse managers and teams of 400+ people.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality and safety through operational leadership.
• Experience leading with KPIs, performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
