Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with journeyman-level experience or completion of apprentice program.
• Apprentice candidate may have Associate's Degree in a technical discipline.
• Requires ability to operate test equipment and understand electrical principles.
• Must meet safety and SOP expectations.

Responsibilities

• Climb poles, set poles and string wire with equipment in a safe manner.
• Operate feeder control devices and perform switching on distribution systems.
• Use test equipment efficiently to assess and diagnose issues.
• Construct and maintain overhead/underground distribution or transmission lines.
• Document events of damaged cables and company facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
