American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Distribution Line Coordinator to plan, schedule and execute both engineered and non-engineered distribution line and service work. You will coordinate personnel and equipment to ensure timely completion of jobs across the distribution workforce.

Responsibilities include investigating damage complaints, coordinating with stores and crews, supporting training, inspecting tools, promoting safety, and assisting with storm and service restoration as needed.

• Investigate damage complaints and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate prechecking jobs, customer contacts, and equipment with stores and distribution crews.
• Assist with training needs and coordinate with trainers; conduct distribution line training as needed.
• Inspect and test distribution line tools and equipment.
• Promote and enforce Safety and Health Programs; assist line crews with area protection and ground worker support.
• Support storm restoration and service restoration activities, including non-standard hours when required.
