Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC, one of North America’s largest wire and cable producers, is seeking an forklift operator for a swing shift in WACO, GA. You will assist supervision, operate machinery and support safety, housekeeping and performance. High school diploma and forklift license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must obtain a valid forklift truck operator’s license.
• Able to read, count and do simple math and write legibly.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions explicitly.
• Must be able to lift 50–75 pounds and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor in keeping the department operating efficiently.
• Perform supervisory duties as needed.
• Accommodate the needs of operators as needed.
• Operate machinery or perform jobs in other departments as needed.
• Assist supervision with safety, housekeeping and employee performance.
