Job summary

Sika is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for distribution to lead the planning team, optimize inventory health across the distribution network, and drive cost efficiency while maintaining exceptional customer service. You will coordinate with demand planners and production planning to ensure accurate forecasts and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business management.
• 7+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or forecasting in the chemical or retail industry.
• APICS certification a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must be able to use Microsoft Office Programs and SAP as an intermediate user.

Responsibilities

• Grow, develop, and motivate a high performing team of distribution planning professionals.
• Maximize product turns and minimize scrap risk in the distribution network.
• Represent distribution network capacity with business and production planning.
• Ensure product categories assigned are stocked according to business targets.
• Partner with Demand Planners to ensure SKU location level forecast accuracy is improved.
• Business liaison between distribution, operations, customer service and business unit teams.
