Job summary

Sika is seeking a Supply Chain Manager for distribution to lead the planning team and optimize inventory health across the distribution network. You will drive product turns, minimize obsolescence, and coordinate with demand planning and sales to meet customer demands.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, or forecasting, with APICS certification a plus. Strong MS Office and SAP skills are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or business management.
• 7+ years experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or forecasting in the chemical or retail industry; APICS certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow, develop, and motivate a high performing team of distribution planning professionals.
• Maximize product turns and minimize scrap risk in the distribution network.
• Represent distribution network capacity with business and production planning.
• Ensure product categories assigned are stocked according to business targets.
• Partner with Demand Planners to improve SKU location forecast accuracy.
• Oversee communication with customer service, sales and logistics to optimize costs and service.
