Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Forestry Coordinator to oversee right-of-way maintenance and ensure reliable distribution service across the assigned area. You will inspect forestry contractors, monitor schedules, and coordinate action plans with Forestry leadership.

This onsite role expects 0-2 years related experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and arboriculture knowledge. You may engage with customers, attend meetings, and pursue ISA Arborist certification as part of the role.

Qualifications

• 0-2+ years directly related experience;
• Knowledge of utility forestry and applications;
• Arboriculture and urban horticulture; dendrology knowledge;
• Effective written and verbal communications, good customer service, organizational and project management skills;
• Abilities: problem solving, quick decision-making, prioritization

Responsibilities

• Coordinate forestry and right-of-way maintenance for reliable distribution operation.
• Inspect and supervise forestry contractors and ensure schedules meet specifications.
• Provide feedback to supervisors and contractors; investigate outages; develop action plans.
• Schedule ROW clearing for new construction; monitor costs and contractor performance.
• Engage with customers and agencies; participate in safety activities and training.
