Job summary

Nippon Sanso Matheson is seeking a logistics-focused supervisor to plan and control cylinder movement, route trucks efficiently, and ensure DOT compliance at the facility. The role involves training drivers and upholding safety policies while reporting to the Hub Plant Manager.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of CFR, OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and experience in the gas manufacturing sector, with proficiency in MS Office and Six Sigma/Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Regulatory knowledge including CFR, OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations.
• Industry knowledge in specialty gas cylinder manufacturing and handling.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support site activities (counter, warehouse, etc.).
• Plan and control cylinder movement into and out of the facility.
• Ensure compliant DOT routing and dispatch of trucks.
• Perform driver training and observations per guidelines.
• Uphold safety policies and contribute to safety culture.
