Job summary

Entergy is seeking a Field Coordinator - Distribution in Madison, MS to lead safe, high‑quality distribution construction and maintenance work. You will plan, validate switching, ensure readiness, and coordinate across Operations with a focus on Life Critical Rules and safe practices.

You will collaborate with Field Crews, DOC, and Supply Chain to resolve constraints, coach teams, and participate in post‑job reviews to improve planning quality and prevent issues before they arise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or related work experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of distribution/transmission line experience.
• Ability to pass a technical capability test.
• Experience with field planning and safety management.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership & High‑Risk Planning: identify hazards and embed safe practices in pre‑job docs.
• Standards Compliance & QA/QC: ensure alignment with standards and validate packages.
• System Operations Support & Outage Planning: prepare switching and outage steps.
• Execution Readiness & Enablement: verify permits, logistics, and materials.
• Technical Coaching & Field Support: mentor planners and resolve planning gaps.
