Job summary

Story Cannabis is seeking a Distribution Associate/Driver to deliver cannabis products safely and on schedule. You will review orders, ensure accuracy, and maintain professional relationships with dispensaries while complying with state regulations and vehicle safety.

This role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver7s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to obtain cannabis badges. Prior inventory experience is preferred, and Maryland pay ranges are specified.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D required.
• Previous experience with inventory preferred.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle driving record (minor violations may be considered).
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which includes a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van at the beginning of the day for deliveries that will happen throughout the day.
• Interpret and execute state laws and regulations required when delivering medical cannabis.
• Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to complete routine maintenance tasks.
• Manage documents associated with medical cannabis delivery, ensuring that proper documents are kept and manifests are returned completed and ready for filing.
• Maintaining positive professional relationships with dispensary staff.
• Timely and effective communication when issues arise while making deliveries.
• Maintains accurate daily records of orders fulfilled and deliveries made.
• Performs all duties related to order fulfillment and delivery.
• Conducts audits of all incoming and outgoing inventory.

Overview:

The Distribution Associate/Driver will work to deliver items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner. This person will be responsible for reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.

• Maintains accurate daily records of orders fulfilled and deliveries made.
• Performs all duties related to order fulfillment and delivery.

• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for long durations.

• Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.

Maryland Pay Range

$19.50-$19.50 USD
