Job summary

Evergy is seeking a Distribution Design Analyst to coordinate capital, asset management, and customer-driven projects in an open-to-location capacity across Topeka, Wichita, and Kansas City. The role focuses on schedules, dashboards, and contractor coordination to ensure on-time project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, experience in project tracking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects and tracking deliverables.
• Experience coordinating with external engineering/contractors or partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from initiation through closeout.
• Maintain schedules, milestones, status reports, dashboards, and tracking tools.
• Track design progress, permit status, material availability, and dependencies.
• Coordinate project assignments with external design partners and contractors.
• Monitor contractor workload, status, deliverables, and milestones.
• Develop reports, dashboards, forecasts, and performance metrics.
