Overview

The Distribution Driver Non-CDL is responsible for delivering products to clients, inspecting the vehicle, and managing loading, unloading, and maintaining the vehicle. Responsibilities include reviewing orders, developing sales, processing payments, and maintaining records.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment prior to commencing the route.
2. Partner with routers to acquire delivery schedules and communicate delays or issues.
3. Drive established routes to deliver wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
4. Resolve customer concerns related to spoilage, breakage, or incorrect products.
5. Assemble customer orders and prepare for delivery.
6. Place products in storage as designated.
7. Maintain accurate delivery records.
8. Collect monies owed, as needed.
9. Provide high-level customer service, explore additional business opportunities, and notify sales teams of leads.
10. Comply with safety standards, DOT regulations, ABC regulations, and company policies.
11. Maintain vehicle and equipment in good condition.
12. Report incidents such as accidents or traffic violations.
13. Follow traffic laws.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. At least 1 year of relevant experience.
2. Department of Transportation (DOT) certification required.

Physical Demands

1. Prolonged sitting and typing, using a computer or adding machine.
2. Occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
3. May require lifting up to 45 lbs.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a drug test, including marijuana, after a conditional offer.
