Job summary

Dal-Tile LLC, a leading tile and natural stone manufacturer, seeks a Distribution Coordinator to provide essential administrative support and coordinate distribution and logistics activities. You will work with various teams to ensure timely delivery of products and accurate records.

The role is entry-level, focused on learning logistics processes, maintaining inventories, and improving distribution efficiency while supporting cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 0-2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and analyze reports using company systems for the department.
• Maintain and update filing systems and databases for recordkeeping.
• Interact with customers and departments inside and outside the organization.
• Assist with accounts payable regarding invoices, billing, and statements.
• Help schedule shipments to ensure accuracy of distribution and productivity.
• Maintain compliance needs for the department.

Job Objective

The Distribution Coordinator is an entry-level contributor that provides administrative support to the department and works with various individuals inside and outside the organization. This role will be responsible for assisting and coordinating distribution and logistics activities, inventory management, and timely delivery of products.

Duties And Responsibilities Of The Position

• Generate and analyze various reports using company systems for the department.
• Maintain and update departmental filing systems and databases for recordkeeping.
• Interact with customers and various departments inside and outside the organization.
• May assist with accounts payable regarding invoices, billing, and statements.
• May assist with scheduling to ensure accuracy of shipments and to help with distribution productivity.
• Assist with maintaining various compliance needs for the department.
• Gain understanding of company operations and industry trends; assist with identification of potential process improvements.
• Actively participate in group activities and collaborates with team.
• Participate in generating alternative solutions and evaluating their feasibility.
• Identify, define, and address problems that are standard, readily identifiable, and typically within the immediate job area.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Required Experience And Education

• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
• 0-2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Applies conceptual knowledge of the theories, practices, and procedures within a discipline.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
