The Kendall Group, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Wire Associate in Wyoming, Michigan. This role involves various tasks including receiving, storing, and distributing products efficiently. You will be responsible for operating different types of machinery and tools while ensuring quality and safety standards are maintained.
Candidates should have at least one year of both warehouse and forklift experience, and a High School Diploma or GED. The company is 100% employee-owned, offering opportunities for growth and development.

Reporting to the Distribution Center Supervisor, the Distribution Center Wire Associate is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing different products to maintain overall efficiency and operation of the Distribution Center. The role may include tasks requiring higher skill levels, troubleshooting, and training other associates.
Work Experience: 1 year of previous warehouse experience; 1 year of forklift experience.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Analytics/Computer Skills: Ability to use standard office equipment, including computerized barcode scanner, printer, and standard warehouse equipment/tools; basic math and reasoning skills.
Organization Skills: Excellent work ethic, good verbal and communication skills; ability to work independently.
Cross-functional skills: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and through the direction of a direct Supervisor or Distribution Center Lead; ability to identify product without the use of barcodes and scanning equipment; ability to operate hydraulic machinery and power hand tools to perform various tasks.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization; know when to request assistance when appropriate, especially when lifting heavy objects.
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to see/sit/stand/walk/talk and hear; lift, move, and carry up to 50lbs; maneuver up to 75lbs with equipment; be on feet for 8 hours; climb stair and step ladders, bend, stoop, crouch and kneel; use hand and finger dexterity to manipulate controls, tools, and objects.
Previous experience picking orders with an RF scanner is preferred; ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, hand trucks, crane, etc.
