Job summary

SanMar seeks a DC Trainer to lead classroom and on-the-job training for Distribution Center staff. You will develop and deliver programs, coordinate schedules, and maintain training records to improve efficiency and knowledge across the team.

Responsibilities include conducting sessions on OJT, safety, and process improvements, while ensuring compliance with company policies and equipment operation. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4–6 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantities, labels and SKU information.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• May need to complete SanMar Lift Operator Certification every three years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training programs to new and existing employees.
• Assist with development and maintenance of training materials and records.
• Coordinate training schedules with DC hiring and training demands.
• Communicate with leadership to execute training efforts.
• Conduct OJT and refresher trainings on specified areas.
• Assist employees with task execution and safety training.
• Maintain trainee records and company procedures compliance.
• Support warehouse operations as needed and operate powered lift equipment if required.
