Kontoor Brands in Mocksville, NC seeks a Trainer to lead training across the Distribution Center, ensuring associates are trained in operational processes, safety requirements and performance expectations.

You will monitor adherence to standard work, provide coaching, and partner with Operations, Engineering and HR to drive continuous improvement and safe, efficient floor operations.

• 1+ year of experience in warehouse or distribution center training.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and training skills.

Position Summary

The Trainer is responsible for leading training and development activities across the Distribution Center. This role ensures associates are properly trained in operational processes, safety requirements, standard methods, and performance expectations. The Trainer also supports Process Control initiatives by monitoring method adherence, identifying training gaps, and partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Human Resources to drive performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Development

• Maintain training records and the DC training database.
• Coordinate and deliver new hire, cross-training, refresher, safety, and procedural training.
• Maintain training curves, cross-training matrices, and associate feedback records.
• Ensure associates understand standard methods, safety practices, and performance expectations.

Process Control & Performance

• Monitor and reinforce adherence to standard work methods.
• Identify and address performance gaps through observation, coaching, and feedback.
• Partner with leadership to support associate development and operational performance.

Continuous Improvement

• Support Engineering projects involving new materials, equipment, and process improvements.
• Assist in documenting, testing, and implementing new methods and standard work practices.

Safety & Auditing

• Incorporate safety standards into all training programs.
• Participate in process audits and safety initiatives Operational Support

• Crosstrain in key operational functions and provide floor support as needed.
• Assist with operational initiatives that support business objectives.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, safety, and standard work.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or distribution center operations preferred.
• Strong communication, coaching, and training skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work effectively with Operations, Engineering, HR, and Leadership.
• Comfortable working on the floor and analyzing operational data.

Experience/Education

• Minimum 1-year related experience
