Job summary

Kontoor Brands, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Supervisor in El Paso to train in key warehouse areas and lead day-to-day department activities.

You will supervise staff, manage the distribution process to ensure accurate and timely shipments, and drive key initiatives with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires 2+ years in a related field, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred), and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in distribution supervision or similar
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field
• Experience in manufacturing/distribution environments is a plus
• Demonstrates leadership and coaching capabilities
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures

Responsibilities

• Assign daily work based on facility requirements and balance workload
• Enforce standard methods and suggest improvements
• Lead training and cross-training to meet production needs
• Coach and develop direct reports and manage performance

Distribution Supervisor:

Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands This position is expected to train in key areas of the warehouse to gain a high level of understanding of all operational aspects. The position will be leading and overseeing the day-to-day activities of a department within the distribution center supervising employees. This position is responsible for managing the overall distribution process to ensure that products are shipped accurately and timely to meet customer needs along with providing visible and dynamic leadership to positively impact key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assigns daily work based on facility requirements to include balancing and coordinating workload.


• Standard method and procedures enforcement and recommendations for improvement.


• Pay Compliance (Pay Policy Implementation, coding, pay explanation) Department Employee Engagement/Morale, Coaching & Developing, Policy & Procedure and Employee Life Cycle.


• Executes proper training and cross training with associates to ensure flexibility to meet current and future production needs and gain efficiencies and/or minimize costs.


• Provide coaching and development for direct reports including performance management.


• Creates and maintains a positive work environment.


• Maintains housekeeping.


• Participates and may lead in health and safety committees.


• Ensures employees are working in a safe environment and according to established safety procedures.


• Maintains, controls, and reports department metrics through staff education and accountability.


• Participates and or leads in Projects that align with the strategic goals of the DC utilizing tools such as 5S, Six Sigma, etc.

Experience/Education: 2 Years + Related Work Experience High School Diploma required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Related Field Preferred
