Job summary

Kontoor Brands, Inc. is offering a position in their distribution center located in Seminole, Oklahoma. This role involves rotating through various departments to gain comprehensive knowledge of workflows, operations, and safety procedures within the center. You will also participate in special projects and assist with warehouse system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through departments learning distribution center functions.
• Acquire knowledge of workflow in the distribution center.
• Understand product receipt, order processing, and shipment.
• Answer questions regarding functional areas in the distribution center.
• Work with management to learn training and measurement principles.
• Understand various operations in the distribution center.
• Familiarize with safety policies and procedures.
• Complete special projects assigned by management.
• Perform warehouse processes during training.
• Assist in implementing new warehouse systems.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Rotates between various departments learning all functions in the distribution center
• Acquires in‑depth and a complete knowledge of the workflow within the distribution center
• Follows a logical program from receipt of product in the DC, receipt of customer orders to the shipment of product to our customers
• Will be required to answer specific questions about each functional area in the distribution center to ensure understanding of all processes
• Works with Engineering and Distribution Management to develop knowledge of training principles, methods, and work measurement
• Develops an understanding and firsthand knowledge of the different operations performed in the distribution center
• Become familiar with policies and procedures within the distribution center
• Become familiar with Kontoor’s safety structure and policies
• Completes special projects as assigned by management
• Will be required to perform various warehouse processes during the training period and required to learn the expectations of all warehouse operations
• Will be key personnel in implementation of new warehouse systems
