We are looking for aDistribution Center Team Lead to join our Rexel team in Carrollton, TX!

Team Lead will lead a small team within the Distribution Center.

This position offers a MONDAY TO FRIDAY SCHEDULE, PAID HOLIDAYS & PAID TIME OFF! Join our team and you'll be home to play on the weekends!

Summary: The Distribution Center Lead is responsible for helping supervise and perform other aspects of their department to facilitate workflow. In the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Distribution Center Assistant Supervisor, will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the department. Acts as a team lead to a small group of employees generally focused on a limited task.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. Assume responsibility for immediately addressing safety concerns
• Assist in leading, training, and coordinating work including delivery scheduling, inbound and outbound processes, safety requirements, and special customer requirements
• In the absence of the Distribution Center Supervisor or Distribution Center Assistant Supervisor, will be responsible for overseeing aspects of the department
• Must know all department functions and processes
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment, maintaining the security of the Distribution Center and accurate inventory
• Ensure inbound and/or outbound shipments and products are accurate and free of damage
• Ensure that jobs are correctly implemented, assigned effectively, and completed properly
• Assist in maintenance and security of the Distribution Center
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 4+ years of distribution center or warehouse experience
• Certification to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred
• High School or GED - Preferred
