Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead a frontline team in a fast‑paced distribution/ manufacturing center in Mesquite, TX. You will drive staffing, workflow, and safety compliance while delivering operational excellence and measurable results.

This role requires 1+ years of leadership experience in operations or logistics, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a proven ability to build teams and optimize processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 1+ years in a leadership role within operations, logistics, or supply chain.
  • Experience in distribution or warehouse environments is a major plus.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and team development skills.

Work Environment

This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
