Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Center Supervisor to provide total responsibility for an efficient, safe department, ensuring high-quality service and productivity.

You will lead a diverse team, plan work, and coordinate with partners to optimize flow and performance. Requirements include 4–6 years of experience, a High School diploma (college preferred), and strong communication and math/PC skills.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in managing diverse teams
• High School diploma is required; college preferred or equivalent work experience
• Strong communication, coaching and development skills; able to motivate leaders
• Must be available to support multiple shifts

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activity within department, including planning, flow, and resource allocation
• Develop and motivate associates and ensure morale and company culture
• Build relationships with business partners across departments and with management, union, HR, Loss Prevention, and Transportation
• Communicate effectively with associates, counterparts, peers, and management to improve efficiency
• Ensure area meets Safety and Housekeeping requirements
• Review practices and processes; make recommendations for improvements
