Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience managing 20+ associates.
• High School graduate; college preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Strong communication, coaching and development skills; solid math and PC skills.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and manage conflict; provide feedback and develop leaders.
• Ability to support multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Total responsibility for operating an efficient, productive and safe department within the Distribution Center.
• Ensure daily production targets are met or exceeded, with a focus on quality and service.
• Maintain a motivated workforce by spending 90% of the shift on the floor reviewing orders and directing associates.
• Plan, flow and allocate resources to day-to-day department activity.
• Develop and motivate associates while preserving company culture and morale.
• Build effective relationships with business partners and management across functions (Union, HR, Loss Prevention, Transportation).
• Communicate clearly with associates and leadership to improve operation efficiency.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are consistently met.
• Review practices and processes to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
