Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Distribution Supervisor for the 1st shift to coordinate daily operations in a warehouse and drive a culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.

The role involves managing day-to-day warehouse activities, conducting performance appraisals, and using reports to improve efficiency and workload balance. Strong leadership, WMS, and MS Office skills are required, with on-site availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years supervisory/people leadership in distribution/manufacturing.

• Onsite availability during normal working hours.

Job description

What you will do:

Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products. Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise. Manages day‑to‑day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded. Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations. Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section. Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics. Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success. Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Required Qualifications

• 1st shift mornings, 4am to 2:30pm
• 2+ years of supervisory/people leader experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
• 1-2 years Warehouse Management Systems experience
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to be onsite during working hours

• Working knowledge of execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
• Working knowledge of business intelligence
• Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is: $43,888.00 - $93,574.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
