Job summary

Oatey is seeking a Distribution Center supervisor in Ohio to oversee daily DC operations, ensure efficient inventory movement, and improve processes through Lean practices. You will manage staff, coordinate shipping/receiving, and uphold safety and quality standards for timely customer fulfillment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics, strong leadership, and proficiency with WMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or related field required or equivalent experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of supply chain and DC management.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operations of the Distribution Center and monitor quality, cost and efficiency of inventory movement.
• Manage inventory levels and safety stock to align with forecast.
• Oversee shipping/receiving and ensure accurate, timely deliveries.
• Maintain facility/equipment, optimize layout and staffing utilization.
• Direct staff: hire, train, coach, and evaluate performance.
• Apply Lean principles to improve processes and maximize efficiency.
