Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a DC Operations Lead to oversee a Distribution Center and align processes with company goals. You will provide input to the DC Manager on strategic planning, financial management, and inventory control while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the facility.

Responsibilities include developing operating plans, budgeting support, process improvements, and managing Supervisors and hourly staff to achieve targets. Overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of experience working in a distribution center, including 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operation of a Distribution Center in support of company goals.
• Provide input and feedback on operations processes and results to DC Manager.
• Develop departmental operating plans for warehouse and transportation operations.
• Identify resources and justify departmental spending; assist in budget development.
• Recommend and implement process improvements; analyze asset utilization and performance.
• Ensure safety and Hazmat compliance; protect associates, facility, equipment and inventory.
• Manage performance of Supervisors and hourly staff; coach and discipline as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
