Job summary

Hog Slat, Inc. in Humboldt, IA, is seeking an Operations Manager for the Distribution Center. The role reports to the facility's General Manager and leads shipping, receiving, inventory control, assembly, drivers, and maintenance; cross-trains to cover for supervisors.

Requires experience managing in a dynamic DC/warehouse and proficiency in MS Office; Dynamics 365 experience preferred. The position demands strong customer service, reasoning, and leadership skills, with availability for 50+ hour

Qualifications

Experience managing in a dynamic distribution center/warehousing environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management software.

Responsibilities

Provide each employee in department with necessary information to perform their assigned duties on a daily schedule.
With HR assistance, ensure a safe working environment for warehouse and yard areas.
Maintain and provide Warehouse overview report to management, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Maintain clean warehouse and orderly yard at all times.
Keep inventory records accurate and document discrepancies; correct issues promptly.
Maintain acceptable attendance per company policy.
Oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, assembly, drivers, and maintenance.
Cross train in all departments to ensure coverage in the supervisor's absence.
