Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Material Handler in our Distribution Center to support inbound and outbound freight, including receiving, labeling, putaway, order picking, replenishment, and eComm fulfillment.

You will operate manual and powered equipment and maintain accurate production logs while collaborating with teammates to meet safety and productivity goals. This role requires reliability, basic math, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills for certain roles.
• Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
• Basic math proficiency for certain roles.
• Good record-keeping skills with attention to details for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Performs one or more functions in a Distribution Center environment (Receiving, Labeling, Putaway, Order Picking, etc.).
• Documents production log to ensure productivity records are accurate.
• Completes other assigned duties per business needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
