Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Material Handler at our New Lenox distribution center to support inbound and outbound freight, with duties across receiving, labeling, putaway, order picking, replenishment, and eComm fulfillment.

Qualified candidates will have basic computer skills and the ability to work independently or in a team, plus basic math and strong communication. The role involves lifting up to 60 pounds, operating manual or powered equipment, and regular warehouse movement in

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Performs distribution center tasks: receiving, labeling, putaway, order picking, replenishment, eComm fulfillment, and loading.
• Utilizes manual and/or powered equipment and RF guns to perform tasks.
• Documents production logs and changes in assignments for productivity records.
• Completes other duties as assigned per business needs.
• Work environment includes lifting, pushing/pulling, and standing in a warehouse.
