Mallard Creek Polymers is seeking a talented DISTRIBUTION CENTER MATERIAL to join our team.

Who you are: Our ideal teammate …

Loads/unloads, storage and shipment of packaged finished goods. Ensures products are handled safely according to established procedures during loading/unloading and movement to and from storage. Follows established company procedures for shipment labeling, documentation, and input of data entry transactions into MCP inventory systems. Assumes site responsibility for operations when Distribution Center Lead Operator is out, ensuring all tasks are completed.

What you do: Our ideal teammate has work-related experience with the following

  • Safely operates forklift to load/unload trucks and move products into storage
  • Enters receiving/shipment data into MCP inventory system in a timely manner
  • Arranges warehouse layout in terms of tote/drum storage and stock rotation
  • Maintains row/bay alignment and floor tape condition
  • Maintains Excel records for location of products within the warehouse
  • Takes inventory counts as requested; assists with scheduled physical inventories
  • Prepare products for shipment to include any labeling, palletizing, stretch wrapping or other customer requirement
  • Prepares and verifies accuracy of shipping documentation and product labeling

What we need

We are looking for someone who complies with all safety rules including forklift safety and experience. This individual will also have strong time management skills and the ability to multitask. Interpersonal communication skills are a plus due to this position working cross departmentally. Attention to detail and organization skills are also important for this role. Basic computer experience is a plus.

  • Experience in a warehouse or similar environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift experience required
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills. Comfortable working on several tasks simultaneously
  • Basic computer experience – Excel, Word and Outlook
