Job summary

Ohio Ag Connection in Cincinnati seeks a Distribution Center Manager to lead end-to-end DC operations, covering receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping. You will drive safety, quality, and service targets while mentoring supervisors and frontline teams.

The role requires 7+ years in distribution or manufacturing operations with proven leadership, Lean/Six Sigma exposure, and ERP experience (SAP/Oracle).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Experience will be considered in lieu).
• 7+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse, or manufacturing plant operations.
• 7+ years of direct people leadership experience, leading large teams (50+ employees).
• Experience as Manager or lead of a Distribution Center/warehouse/manufacturing plant.
• Lean/Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt).
• ERP experience (SAP or Oracle preferred).
• Experience with inventory control and logistics operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Manage operating budget, including labor, equipment, and facility costs.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset with Lean/Six Sigma exposure.
• Data-driven decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all daily distribution center operations, including inbound, storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipping
• Manage, coach, and develop a workforce including supervisors and frontline teams
• Drive performance against key metrics such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost
• Ensure high levels of inventory accuracy through effective controls and cycle counting programs
• Optimize labor planning, staffing, and workflow to meet demand and improve efficiency
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company standards
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance
• Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, transportation, and customer service teams
• Manage operating budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 base salary + 10% bonus.
