Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its distribution center in the United States. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing facility equipment, conveyors, PLCs, and related systems while adhering to strict safety standards and PM schedules.

You will document work performed, manage parts inventory, and mentor junior technicians, collaborating with vendors on projects across the DC.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety standards including LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyors; follow PM standards and document work performed.
• Accurately report spare parts inventory levels and daily usage to Maintenance leadership.
• Assist in training junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and on time.
• Take on other duties to support the DC's operational needs.
