Job summary

Caleres, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor for the Chino Distribution Center to lead preventive maintenance, manage a team of Supervisors and Technicians, and ensure safe, efficient operations at the site.

The role focuses on maintaining high-speed conveyance systems and coordinating with external vendors. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in industrial maintenance, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, and leadership experience; bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facilities maintenance or maintenance technician experience.
• 7+ years of leadership experience in industrial environments.
• Experience with automated conveyors is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge; training in maintenance disciplines is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep to minimize downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost control across the center.
• Develop and mentor Supervisors and Technicians; implement succession planning.
• Ensure safety policies, OSHA compliance, and loss prevention programs are followed.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on projects and inspections.
