Job summary

HWI Distribution Center is seeking a Distribution Center Coordinator to ensure smooth loading dock operations and the timely handling of inbound and outbound loads from the sourcing center. You will prepare shipments, create documents, and schedule carriers for all loads while supporting inventory control and safety practices.

Responsibilities include processing orders, coordinating with customers, and conducting weekly inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle ERP.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and forklift operation.
• Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and load preparation.
• Process orders and prepare shipment documentation.
• Schedule carriers and manage carrier relationships.
• Perform inventory management tasks and cycle counts.
• Provide customer support via email/phone and maintain records.
• Conduct daily safety checks and GEMBA walks.
